Overview of Programs

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center is dedicated to providing affirming programming, outreach, and services to strengthen and support the region's LGBTQ+ community.

Our community programming provides access to the arts while increasing the visibility of LGBTQ+ art and literature. Our community groups affirm and empower individuals coming together under a common identity or experience. Our youth programming connects LGBTQ+ youth to health and social support and provides them with the tools to become leaders and their own advocates. Our health programs address barriers to care, highlight the developing needs in our community, and promote health equity for all LGBTQ+ people!

Community Programs

Our Community Programs are intended to be fun, educational, and social community events. All Community Programs are alcohol-free events at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center. Unless stated otherwise, all events are virtual and feature live closed captioning.

Community Groups

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center provides a range of ways to create and build community - here in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Many offer virtual or hybrid options to connect. Bradbury-Sullivan Center hosts a number of different community discussion and social support groups both in-person and virtually. Meetings with virtual components feature live closed captioning.

Youth Programs

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center provides a variety of youth programs to build youth leadership, build community, encourage healthy living, and to promote artistic expression for LGBTQ+ youth in the Lehigh Valley. We believe in a brave space model where our center is an affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth to be themselves.

Health Programs

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center believes that LGBTQ+ people deserve health equity: the attainment of the highest levels of health and wellness available today. In that spirit, the center develops leading-edge health promotion programs focused on eliminating health disparities related to tobacco, cancer, and HIV within the Lehigh Valley's LGBTQ+ community.

Research Programs

The data & evaluation department at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center participates in research projects focused on strengthening the health and wellbeing of the LGBT community. The team is helping to fill the void of available research on LGBT health, identifying health disparities and barriers to care, and exploring possible strategies for addressing these issues.
