Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center provides a variety of youth programs to build youth leadership, build community, encourage healthy living, and to promote artistic expression for LGBTQ+ youth in the Lehigh Valley. We believe in a brave space model where our center is an affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth to be themselves.
Please note: A parent or guardian must accompany youth program participants under 14. Adults who are not accompanying a child may not attend youth programming. Community partners and press must receive advanced staff approval to attend any youth program.

Youth Drop-In Hours
2:30-5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays
Bradbury-Sullivan Center is hosting drop-in hours for youth, ages 14-17, to relax in a safe space and hangout. Youth can do homework, eat snacks, or even just relax. Folks will have access to boardgames, video games, a computer lab, Wi-fi, art supplies, and books. Youth will also have access to our Care Cupboard which contains free personal hygiene products that they can take home!
- Youth Advocacy Program -
As an organization, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center strives to equip youth to be their own advocates and talk to legislators about creating policies that protect their health, safety, and well-being. We have designed our youth advocacy program to engage youth in advocacy work focused on ENDS (Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems) products.
Youth will learn skills such as public speaking, policy research and tracking, and data presentation. Once these skills are developed, the goal is to take youth to visit with their local legislators in their regional offices as well as in Harrisburg. This valuable experience would supplement any college application very nicely.
Throughout the fall and winter, our Center will host a series of events where we will teach youth valuable information about ENDS (Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems) and help them develop the skills necessary to advocate for themselves!
